  I have been here many times during various times of the year and have enjoyed every visit. During the summer you get to see beautiful wildflowers, enjoy wonderful indoor exhibits and movies; in the winter, there are ranger lead snowshoe hikes that are quite enjoyable. There is a very nice gift shop upstairs, and there is a diner of sorts downstairs. The food prices are high, but we brought our own and ate in the lobby and no one had an issue with that.

  I've vacationed numerous places worldwide. I have never found a location that offered the peace, comfort and forest refuge of the cabins at Deep Forest. From the private hot tubs, to kitchens equipped for prep of gourmet meals, to the incredibly comfortable beds dressed with flannel sheets and down comforters...the environment is peaceful and absolutely perfect for quiet relaxation. Deer roam the grounds almost close enough to touch. This mountain retreat provides a refuge that has drawn us back again and again! The proprietors have ensured every comfort to their guests; definitely our first choice for a quiet refreshing escape!
